Any time you call a 1-800 number or bundle co. or box store for a service, you are dealing with sales people that never put there hands on the product they are selling you. When getting a service like satellite find a local retailer in your area that uses employees NOT subcontractors ---- a store you can walk into a live human.

I just spent almost 3 hours on the phone between Verizon and DirecTV because my billing was unbundled after I canceled my triple play. There's a mysterious charge on my DirecTV bill for more than $50 and the DirecTV agents say it comes from Verizon. Verizon says they have no record of it. No one can tell me what it's for or when it was incurred. I knew I had an early cancellation penalty of $120 but this is on top of that.
Clearly, they will overcharge you and assume that most people won't take the time to challenge it.
