Review 11/22/2010

I have read the other scathing reviews here, and I feel your pain. I was checking my credit score and noticed it dropped by almost 60 points. That's pretty significant. So, I looked to see who was reporting negatively, and low and behold it was our wonderful AHFC. I bought my vehicle in Connecticut and re-registered it in Washington State. Well, apparently AHFC never got the memo and continued paying CT property tax on my vehicle even after I had ended my lease with them. They mailed me an invoice for the tax which I never received, and then they called me about a month later telling me I owed them. Well I cleared that up (or so I thought), and a month later is when I noticed my credit score plunge. Now AHFC is paying Texas property tax even though the vehicle was never registered in Texas. When I asked them about it I felt like I was talking to a four year old. They couldn't tell me why Texas was charging me property tax, but they did know that I owed them money for it. AHFC people remind me of the citizens in the movie Idiocracy.
