Negligent About Resident Safety
Imagine that a drugged out man who lives in your complex harassed a young family with a one-year old in a very gross way about the baby, tried to dognap your dog, got naked, brandished a knife and then masturbated on his balcony in full view of all the community areas where children play and children live next door, you have photo evidence, same complex witnesses, a drug needle pile behind his condo, police who say that this tenant must also be handled by HOA and the management—and the management fails to inform any tenants about that incident on July 12, 2020—only another violent incident by a non-tenant two days later on July 14, 2020—then, in fact, says that the drugged out tenant has a different version of the story and never gave the owner any problems?! That is what Kelly at Ross Morgan did this week. Her gross negligence is acknowledged by every single person I have talked to in this complex and one day her negligence is going to cause Ross Morgan a liability suit. I guess the judge believes our version of the story because there is now a restraining order in place. When we’ve reported safety issues, Kelly has responded that ‘As a tenant, you may be mistaken about the role of the management company,’ which tells me Kelly’s position on safety concerns from tenants and not owners isn’t what the property management company handles! We are curious what tf you handle all day, Kelly! In my opinion, failing to inform the tenants about a potentially threatening person living in the complex tells me that they have NO regard for the safety of their tenants. So basically she doesn't do jack sh*t when tenants raise issues and Ross Morgan is totally okay with it! I will be sharing this story far and wide.

Business's response - on 7/17/2020
There have been a few alarming incidents in and around the community the last few days. Including a man, reportedly a resident of Eaton Terrace, persistently knocking on doors, trying to enter and rambling nonsense walking through the streets. Additionally, there have been reports of drug activity in the bushes adjacent to Fremont Villas. All residents must take reasonable safety precautions including keeping your doors locked and reporting any suspicious activity to LAPD and Post Alarm 626- 446-7159. Attend Neighborhood Watch meetings and ask your councilperson what they are doing to care for the homeless population. The association will be posting new No Trespassing signs, asking the gardeners to clear out any debris from the vegetation around the property and to report any signs of vagrants and will close off the rec area and bathrooms to keep them off limits. This matter absolutely falls within the jurisdiction of the location police department as indecent exposure, knife wielding and drug use are all criminal offenses. The HOA will also be turning this matter over to it's legal counsel.
